Mind, Body, Soul Goals for 2023

As we start a new year I have seen an influx of clients booking appointments. This is awesome! But I also know that life coaching and/or therapy isn't an option for everyone.


That being said, there are still plenty of ways you can work on self-improvement and discovery if you're not in a place in your life to take the leap of hiring someone yet.


Below I have listed 30 ways to live your best life this year, broken up by mind, body and soul. These are all practices I implement myself and encourage in my clients.

Mind

  1. Learn effective conflict resolution and communication skills

  2. Keep track of everything you read/watch/talk about in a day and then monitor your mood following each

  3. Identify what happens internally just before you procrastinate

  4. Practice integrity-if someone could hear you saying what you're saying, would you still say it?

  5. Cut out the news

  6. Look for books/knowledge that go against your opinion. This is called disjointed learning and reinforces your "wise mind!"

  7. Do brain dumping each night before bed

  8. Send someone a text right now telling them that you love them (hint: it can be you!)

  9. Get clear on your values

  10. Take the VIA strengths test


Body

  1. Accomplish one decluttering/cleaning task a day

  2. Go get a checkup

  3. Learn different types of breaths for different responses (i.e. calming, energizing, focus, etc.)

  4. Cut out gluten

  5. Drink matcha daily

  6. Get sunlight within your first five mins of waking (use a sun lamp if needed)

  7. Begin taking supplements

  8. Create buffers in your day to decompress with self-care activities

  9. Don't forget to cool down and warm up before working out

  10. Try a new skill


Soul

  1. Pick an intention word and infuse it into everything you say/do

  2. Daily sound baths

  3. 30 minutes of silence a day to be with jus yourself (no reading, scrolling or texting either!)

  4. Create a vision board

  5. Take workshops, courses, masterclasses

  6. Create a playlist of affirmation songs

  7. Do an oracle spread weekly

  8. Journal nightly

  9. Try a spiritual app for daily check ins and insights

  10. Get out in nature



Try picking 1-2 new things from each category to work on and watch your life start to change! Comment below with any additional practices you're adding in this year.
